Random Thoughts 2

I haven't had a chance to write in here for a while. Since AP tests just hit and right after, my mom took away my computer for a bit. But all is back to normal now.

Speaking of AP tests, who did that "why so serious?" thing? If you don't know what I'm talking about, this is what it is...
Usually this is done in the free response section of your examination, because that's where the graders are reading. When you write you answer, right in the middle, randomly, you write "WHY SO SERIOUS?" and then cross it out and then continue your sentence. The point is to confuse the reader and not get punished for it.
After the tests, I asked Aaron Tumamao if he did it. He said that he wanted to, but decided not to because he was worried that if he wrote a shitty essay, the grader would get even madder when he/she saw the "WHY SO SERIOUS?" in the middle.
I laughed because I wrote a shitty essay and I still did it.
And I thought whatever you crossed out doesn't get graded no matter what.

I bet Pac-Man has bulimia. There are 255 levels in Pac-Man. Each screen looks like it has over 200 dots.
255 x 200 = 51000 dots in the whole game.
Now, assuming you play a perfect run and get to level 255, you've just eaten 51,000 dots, maybe some ghosts, power pellets, and that fruit that appears randomly. Pac-Man does not take one dump. Not one.
I bet when you leave the arcade machine and turn around, he starts puking all over the screen.

I recently started up Mario Kart again. It's a fun game. If you don't have it, you should try it. When I play it, I start thinking what it would be like if Mario Kart took over the road in real life.
Are you late for an appointment? No problem. Golden Mushroom all the way. Traffic? Star power. Did that guy just flick me off and cut in front of me? BITCH, EAT BLUE SHELL.

Speaking of Mario Kart, I noticed that the Blue Falcon is in the small karts section. For those of you that don't know, Blue Falcon is the vehicle of Captain Falcon from the F-Zero series, which features hovercrafts that go up to supersonic speeds of 900 mph. If that's so, WHY THE HELL CAN'T I BEAT ANYBODY WITH IT IN MARIO KART?

I just realized that the entirety of the NES library takes less memory than 2 anime episodes.

Can anyone use an eraser entirely? I mean. Think about it. When you first get an eraser, it's all clean clean. Then you use it. It gets shorter...and shorter...and shorter until it get to some nub of rubber. And even then you can use it. At what point of an eraser's career does it just use up its last bits and disappear? You can't rub an eraser into nothing can you?

Haha that reminds me of this thing I read in a book that Kevin Yang gave me to read in silent reading last year in my Spanish class. It says: Does 1 grain of sand equal a pile? No of course not. Do 2? Of course not. Do 3?... And so on. And then the book asked me: At what number of grains does it equal a pile of sand? I couldn't concentrate for the rest of the day.

I have writer's block.
Maybe I'll write some more later ^^

Subliminal

So I just threw up. I haven't done that in a looong time. Felt weird...like I was choking. And then after like 5 seconds I could breathe again. I think it was a purplish color. But not full purple cuz that's just nasty. In it was a bunch of...ah never mind. You probably stopped reading. If you're still reading, then...hi. I hope it isn't swine flu. I don't even know if throwing up is a symptom because I didn't do any research on it.

But you know what I DID do research on?

Subliminal messages.

Yeah, those are those hidden messages inside everyday media or something else. It can be hidden pictures, hidden words, anything below the threshold of consciousness. I did some research on this over the summer and it was pretty fun to look at.

A lot of them were pretty obvious though and just made me say, "Oh please." It didn't even like try to send me any message or anything. Whoever came up with subliminal messaging had one of the best ideas ever. To make something like that looks really difficult though. For me, I couldn't tell right away at first. Subliminal messages could be everywhere though...like even in Youtube, or Facebook, or even AIM. So if you see hobbes9469, then it's probably me trying to subliminalize you.

So that's about it for now.

By the way

Did you catch the subliminal message in this post?

I'll make this short

YOU KNOW WHATS BUUUULLLLSHIT???

Those things at the end of online registration things that say "type in these letters" or "type in what you see" and you look at the picture, and what do you get. You get some deformed pile of shit. How the in the hell are you supposed to copy that when it just looks like freaken garbage? If you want me to copy it, then MAKE IT LOOK LIKE DAMN WORDS. It's like playing a damn guessing game with these things...do they think it's funny? IT'S NOT FUNNY. IT'S MORE BUNNY THAN FUNNY. What kind of sick, perverted person is laughing at us because they made it so hard to type in what should be some simple characters? Whatever to them...geez. Ok. Just wanted to write that. XD

Words/Phrases I Don't Like [And some other stuff]

Basically
This word is really...really...really overused. I think I hear it at least once a day. I'm not even sure if people know if they're using it right. But even if they are, it's used sooo much and I wanna just bite into it so it will just say "cally."

No offense
God. Damn. This phrase is pretty much...like. Ok, lets say you heard this said to you:
"Dude, that shirt looks really bad on you."
And now imagine someone said this to you:
"No offense, but that shirt looks really bad on you."
I don't know about you, but saying "no offense" makes it worse than if you had just said the comment by itself. You guys....please. Please. Don't ever use this phrase. Please.

Epic
This is another example of an overused word. I see it everywhere. Especially on the internet. It's starting to bug me now =\.

I'm not even kidding
Ok this is just like a filler. It's like saying "sort of" or "um" or "uh" or "you know" etc. It doesn't bother me as much as the other phrases, but I'd prefer if people didn't use it as much as they do now.

lol (the inert kind)
I don't mind it if people say "lol" when they really mean it. It's when people just say it to reply to your message just to shoo you away. For example:
-hey whats up
~nm lol
-dude i lost my hw
~lol
-o_O
-now i got like...an F in the class
~lol
-uh...
~lol
-I have to go now
-ttyl
~lol k
~bye
~lol

Thank you Ryan and JR for introducing me to the wonderfulness of Nujabes. It makes me so relaxed. It was so good that I had to share it with everyone hahaha. If you're reading this, you gotta look him up, dude. His music is amazing.

And now, something to think about:
Let's say you had a pirate ship. Every day, a part on the ship broke and you had to replace it on the same day. And this continues on every day until finally, you have replaced every part on your ship with a new part. Do you now have a new ship? Or do you have the same old ship with just some adjustments?

Hm. I'm not even sure if people read this stuff. If you do, let me know so I can feel better about putting posts up :D

Fighters other than Brawl??? Blasphemy...

But it's not! Recently, I discovered one of the most classic and treasured fighters of all time. lol. Street Fighter XD.

The reason why I didn't pick it up before was because it looked insanely difficult to play at the time. So I didn't even bother. But recently I saw some guys fighting it out on SF3 and I was like...whoa. And I decided I would give it a shot. Because if Ryan Ruan can do it, I can definitely do it. [JK RYAN. Don't kill me.]

So currently, I have no console ports of SF, but I did come across a PC version. Via emulator. I couldn't get the SF3 to work, so I had to settle for SF Alpha 3.

It's a pretty good game, and I wished I had picked it up sooner. Lol Brawl made me blind to other fighters.

So first things were first. SF isn't like Brawl where the same buttons pretty much execute the same move [with some changes]. SF actually has set combos for each character. So of course I wouldn't be able to main anyone. So I took a look at the list to see who caught my eye. It was between Fei Long, Ryu, Akuma, E. Honda, and Vega. I think. So I tried to narrow it down by looking for a video that included all the characters to see their fighting style. Akuma won.

Look at this crazy bitch XD

Why'd I pick this dude...?
Well, let's see:
1) Akuma means demon in Japanese. Which means this dude is from hell. Holy crap.
2) He has a relative easy moveset.
3) I saw his ultra. I can't even describe it. It's just...like...so much rape put into 5 seconds.

Speaking of ultras, I found this cool video from SF4 of all character's ultras. Check it out.

Top 5 Ultras:
1) Akuma
2) M. Bison
3) Fei Long
4) Ken
5) Sakura

LOL I'll stop being a nerd now. Well, just for this one moment.

Hot weather huh...it's supposed to cool down by tomorrow.
And AP's are coming up.
Dunno how I'll do.

Oh, over spring break, I went to the zoo.
I heard a strange noise coming from the turtle area. It sounded like a horn.
So I went over.
It wasn't the sound of a horn.
It was the sound of horny.
Two turtles were getting it on.
It was funny how all the little kids watching were like, "Mommy, what's that?"
And the parents couldn't stop laughing.

Ok that's enough for today :D
