Anime Review #2: Clannad After Story

You just knew I was gonna do this one after Clannad, huh?

I hope everyone is having a great summer! I know a lot of people are sick right now, and I hope you get better!
Anyways, on to business...

This is Clannad After Story. It's the second series after Clannad. And it kicks your ass. This series is amazing. This is probably one of the few times that I've seen that a second series is far superior to the first. And of course this is my opinion. CUZ IT'S MY REVIEW. There's not a whole lot more to say about this because of my previous review, which was on the first series. So I'll try to explain this to the best of my ability.
And I'm not gonna separate it this time. For the above reasons.
The storyline is excellent. It is very unpredictable, which is what I like in a storyline. It also develops the characters extremely well and allows you to connect with them...if that's your thing. I really like what they did with the story. It made it interesting to watch and I could hardly stop watching. Hopefully, if you liked Clannad, then Clannad After Story will be just awesome for you to watch. I will admit that the series does get a little hard to follow near the end, but it is good nonetheless. I absolutely love the characters that came back for another appearance in this series. Like I said, this anime develops the characters way past what the first one did for them. If you liked a character, or characterS, then prepare to have your love for them double, if not trippled. The story did have some things that I didn't agree with, but you can't please everyone. Geez, what a great series. Fuck it. I'm giving it ratings.
